At our board meeting this week, mid year school wide reading and mathematics assessment data was shared with the board.

Monitoring progress and achievement is one way that we use to work towards our strategic goal number 1

Ensuring all ākonga gain confidence and experience success in literacy and numeracy.

At this point of the year, we have 86% of our Y 2 - 6 ākonga either meeting or exceeding curriculum expectations in mathematics.

We have 81% of our Year 2 - 6 ākonga either meeting or exceeding curriculum expectations in reading.

Year 1 ākonga data is collected differently as they all enter school at different times of the year.
