While the spring weather has been ‘consistently inconsistent’ over recent weeks, we have started preparation to open the swimming pool in the coming weeks. We will let you know when to start packing swimming togs and a towel in a waterproof bag. Swimming is part of the NZ curriculum and we expect the tamariki to participate in swimming lessons. We NEVER insist on the children staying in the pool if they are cold. That said, the pool now has a solar heating system and the pool cover helps hold the temperature overnight too.
Due to potential health and safety concerns with maintaining the pool over the holidays and at weekends, the Board have reluctantly decided that pool keys will not be available for purchase by our community.
