TE AŌ MĀORI HUI
What a night this was! Kapa haka started the evening off with a great performance, the classrooms were full of whānau participation and fun, we received some whānau voice in the staffroom, and the soup kitchen....... was absolutely the place to be.
We are VERY grateful to everyone for the generous donations of vegetables for our soup. A big thank you to Kevin and Agnes from aPlus for your sizable vegetable contribution too. The school had a sweet ‘soupy’ aroma for several days. We know that a large number of tamariki surprised themselves by enjoying a warm cup (or two) of vege soup too!
Thanks so much for coming, for bringing extended whānau and for being a positive part of our home/school partnership.
