COVID UPDATE - Red traffic light Phase 3.

You’ll be aware that yesterday the Government announced that New Zealand would move into Phase 3 of our response to Omicron from 11:59pm Thursday 24 February.
In Phase 3, only household contacts of confirmed cases are required to self-isolate. The isolation period will be 10 days. All other contacts of COVID-positive people are not required to isolate, but they will need to monitor for symptoms. Rapid antigen tests will become the primary testing method.

If anyone in your family is confirmed as having COVID-19, you will be asked to notify your close contacts yourself. Please get in touch with us ASAP if anyone in your household tests positive - you can do this via the school app, by telephoning in or emailing the office.
It remains really important that you do not send your child to school if they are unwell.
