Newsletter - Term 3, Week 2, 2022

It has been great to see a bit of sun at the end of the week. Everyone has enjoyed getting outside to soak up the nicer weather, at break times and for fitness and PE. It has been a busy week with preparations for the major production getting underway. Senior students have also been preparing for an orienteering event, held today at the Esplanade. Thank you to aPlus and parents who have assisted in providing transport to and from the
event.

Celebration of Learning:

We had a fabulous turn out for our Celebrating Learning evenings on Tuesday and Wednesday. As I wandered around it was awesome seeing our tamariki sharing their learning and having fun with their whānau. A few children even looked like they had taken the opportunity to sit in the teacher’s chair and try to teach their parents! It was a great evening for building connections between home and school. Thank you for making the effort. Remember if you have any queries or concerns about your child’s progress, you can email your child’s whānau teacher to make an appointment to meet. A big thank you to all the teachers who helped to make the evening a success.
